wonderful communication and work without much
as a second thought.
In fact, there are currently more than 10,000 satellites in orbit around the earth. According to NASA satellite has an average altitude of 240 miles. Several hundred of them are more than 20 meters long and some as low as 100 miles above the earth and the other as if about 500 miles. For a satellite orbiting the earth observer can see around 45-90 minutes before or after sundown, or the sun.
There are three main satellite orbit: (1) geostationary orbit, where satellites are always in the same position with respect to the rotation of the earth. (2) satellite with a diameter almost always Polar Polar orbit inclination, (3) tend to orbit a satellite that is placed where you would consider specific areas of the world such as the Tropics.
Our oldest orbiting satellite Vanguard 1 was launched 50 years ago in February 1959 that weighs about 3-1/4 mundi. So far, has been orbiting the earth more than 197.000 times. Orbit is very high and may become stronger in the next century. But, now there is talk and bring home that can be put on display at the Smithsonian.
As I understand, each satellite one or more work to be done such as: forecasting, Mapping ocean currents, and aircraft monitoring Hurricanes, deliver TV programs around the world and many, many more.
For me, the people of our churches is a bit like a satellite. Why do I say this?
Because, as we sit in church on Sunday, we took the message of God. Then, the next week, we like to go to orbit the earth, and to convey the message to the people who God has placed before us during the week as a person - the orbiting satellite!
