A GPS receiver is an electronic device that uses Global Positioning System to determine the exact location on earth and the pin-point accuracy. The system is composed of three parts; 27 satellites that transmit signals continuously position, the ground stations around the world who helps synchronize the satellites, and various types of GPS receiver.
